Eco Vacuum Furnace

ECO-Conventional-layout-comparisonThe new Eco Vacuum Furnace product line makes your heat treating a cleaner, safer, and more efficient operation.

Eco furnace systems are a double chamber installation - a vacuum furnace with integrated oil quenching cell. It is a compact installation that aims a replacing sealed quench (SQF) or batch IQ furnace systems (BIQ) for hardening or carburizing operations.

Thanks to vacuum technology, the Eco furnace increases your productivity. Vacuum heat treatment takes place at higher temperature in comparison to conventional furnace solutions, and the carbon footprint is optimized (read our LPC comparison here). Electric heating combined with vacuum allows for the elimination of endo gas generators, and only consumes enough gas needed to carburize. As a result, energy consumption is minimal and CO2 emissions are near 80% less compared to sealed quench furnaces. Furthermore, safety concerns are eliminated in regards to open flames and fire hazards.

Eco furnaces are flexible to allow several processes to be programmed, which makes them ideal solutions for commercial heat treating or mechanical workshops that sinter, braze, harden or carburize.

The electric heating and vacuum technology also allow for quick and easy integration into production lines and facilities. The Eco furnace systems can be integrated into existing batch lines, using the same peripheral equipment and conveyers.

Replace your traditional batch type integral sealed quench furnace system (SQF/BIQ) or integrate an Eco vacuum furnace into your current heat treat production line to achieve:

• Reduction in CO2 emissions: up to 80%
• No endo gas generator
• No CO gas used for carburizing operations
• No flames, no fire hazards - safer processes
• Optimized cycle times and energy consumption
• Better metallurgical results
• Easy integration into existing sealed quench lines
